Usage without surprises
Clear allowances for cloud AI.
An AI action means a new AI-generated draft or a substantive rewrite of a normal-length transcript. Longer requests may count as more than one action; we will publish the exact rule before billing starts. The app will show remaining usage, stop at the allowance and offer an optional prepaid top-up. Local transcription will not consume AI actions.

Privacy belongs in every plan.
Today, WordHeld keeps conversations on the device. Optional cloud AI would send selected transcript text to a provider only after the feature is built and its data handling is explained. The clinical plan targets stronger device and practice controls plus an approved zero-retention provider setup; those safeguards are not available in the prototype.
Before a paid launch
What is available now?
The Windows evaluation build can record, transcribe locally and create editable, source-based drafts. It has no accounts, payment system or cloud LLM. Its working files are not encrypted at rest and it has not been clinically validated. Use sample data while clinical privacy and safety work is completed.
